**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Fri Nov 12 02:59:56 2021 Nov 12 19:32:58 how (un)common is battery "bulging"? just dug up my old N900, haven't used it in years (alas) and it seems that the battery is slightly "bulging" (not exactly like this, luckily: https://www.informatique-mania.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/bateria-hinchada-telefono-780x453.jpg) but it's also definitely not as flat as it oughta be. what about the N9's? I have two Harmattan devices as well and since those don't have user-replaceable batteries... (mine don't Nov 12 19:32:59 show any signs of bulging, yet at least) Nov 12 19:33:25 common for badly treated batteries Nov 12 19:33:38 ie. discharged too much then recharged Nov 12 19:34:21 and you can easily replace n9's battery, just takes a bit Nov 12 19:35:28 huh, interesting! (I guess I should read up on how batteries work, eh? >.>) would kinda make sense, though, given that this N900 was my daily driver for quite a while (if it only had 4G capabilities, I'd definitely be using it today! sadly all the 4G-capable QWERTY phones are expensive and hard to get, bleh...) Nov 12 23:23:48 * joerg just noticed his N950 BL-4D battery went down to 3.1V despite the device is connected to USB-power since years Nov 12 23:24:08 N950 had a bug in charger circuit **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sat Nov 13 02:59:57 2021
