Apr 30 10:30:32 <flamefew> i've gone through the whole list :) sercomm was a bit dubious because the nslu2 site doesn't link to a sercomm download. I had to google, and when the windows app I downloaded didn't like the ethernet in my laptop I moved onto the linux upslug script.
Apr 30 10:30:56 <flamefew> Linux upslug script seemed to hang when I tried to fix the brick without going into RedBoot. When I went into RedBoot, it couldn't see the slug anymore.
Apr 30 10:32:02 <flamefew> RedBoot didn't seem to see the TFTPD server on the Windows box, so I dumped the file in the root of a Tomcat server and switched to http. Unsure if it's getting anywhere though. I tried a 2nd time, saw a | turn to a / and that was it. Eth light still blinking though.

Apr 30 10:34:26 <flamefew> i booted with the flash in, because I figured it would need that. Flipped to maintenance mode and let it boot again. Then did the update. I realised as it started that the flash was still in, yanked it out and the update died.
