Mar 02 21:32:53 http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/ddwrt/cross/stable/ Mar 02 21:33:57 rtorrent_0.8.4-1_mipsel.ipk Mar 02 21:34:02 http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=rtorrent+for+openwrt&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a Mar 02 21:36:06 thanks ma8! Mar 02 21:41:35 which package is required if i want to connect to ssh server from ubuntu to openwrt Mar 02 21:41:41 ? Mar 02 21:42:25 you mean a ssh server on openwrt? Mar 02 21:42:47 dropbear or openssh Mar 02 21:44:42 ok thanks. what is the differance between dropbear and openssh? Mar 02 21:45:27 dropbear is supposed to have a lower memory footprint Mar 02 21:45:44 googling dropbear vs openssh will give you more ;) Mar 02 21:47:36 ok Mar 02 21:47:42 thanks again Mar 02 21:50:21 at my ubuntu places menu, at the bottom is field called connect to server. From here i can chose different types of protocols to connect to the nslu2 by. I did never get this to work with unslung. I am using debian now i don't like it at all on the slug. Mar 02 21:51:42 is it the openssh package that is required for this feature to work aswell? Mar 02 21:51:57 i'd just use ssh ipaddressofnslu2 Mar 02 21:52:03 in a terminal, rather than tht gui Mar 02 21:58:53 hmm. I find it rather neat when transfering files from my laptop to the nslu2. Do you use that to transfer as well? Mar 02 22:00:27 winscp on windows Mar 02 22:00:35 or sftp://slugipaddress on liunx Mar 02 22:00:39 *linux Mar 02 22:01:07 you'll probably be used to using sftp on with having debian... so probably want to put openssh on it.. Mar 02 22:09:33 ok thank you for all support. I will try to install openwrt. I will Probably be right back with more questions then. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Tue Mar 03 02:59:56 2009
