Jul 12 10:08:38 i cant even ping the nslu2 Jul 12 10:10:59 plus the disk leds dont light up Jul 12 10:12:51 and no ping either..grr Jul 12 10:22:24 hello Jul 12 10:22:39 hi Jul 12 10:23:04 i have a couple of kernel questions Jul 12 10:23:47 i am trying to compile a gentoo kernel for the freecom fsg, which is another intel ipx card like the nslu2 Jul 12 10:24:23 are there any particulars that i should know about the port_ Jul 12 10:24:54 i am trying to do a armeb-linux-softfloat-gnu port Jul 12 10:24:57 for libc Jul 12 12:19:56 hi Jul 12 12:20:06 I have a question regarding redboot/reset Jul 12 12:20:32 I have a slug which I wanted to try out with debian etch, it has ucslugc at the moment Jul 12 12:20:36 (with redboot) Jul 12 12:21:08 for some reason, it refuses to go into upgrade mode (no matter how long I keep the reset button pressed), the led just stays amber Jul 12 12:22:00 and here goes the fun part - the ucslugc does not want to boot on it's own, but it I telnet into redboot (192.168.0.1 / 9000), and press ctrl-c, THEN it starts the boot process Jul 12 12:22:14 it=if Jul 12 12:23:08 after which it boots up fine. The question is - has anyone encountered similar behaviour ? How could I put this thing into upgrade mode without a JTAG reset ? Jul 12 12:23:35 (no disks/sticks are plugged in the slug, BTW) Jul 12 14:41:38 03bzhou * r6381 10optware/trunk/make/zile.mk: zile: 2.2.37 -> 2.2.38 Jul 12 14:44:06 03bzhou * r6382 10optware/trunk/make/nginx.mk: nginx: 0.6.2 -> 0.6.3 Jul 12 18:47:54 hi all.
