Oct 07 09:52:42 I have the CONTORL an opt Folder and wanna make an ipk-package out of that Oct 07 09:53:22 so very easy, I have a script on my Oleg-Device, but I would like to build it from optware Oct 07 10:07:25 @oli___: http://www.openfsg.com/index.php/Crosscompile_with_Optware Oct 07 10:07:53 that a tutorial from me based on this forum thread: http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?p=117472 Oct 07 10:09:20 if you like to compile an existing package it is pretty easy. no need to understand how a package work. Oct 07 10:09:49 Hi, your are also from wl500g.info Oct 07 10:11:32 i am from openfsg.com Oct 07 10:13:18 ok Oct 07 10:13:20 nice tutorial, but what I wanna do is only to make the package out of the folders CONTROL and opt. I can not find it Oct 07 10:13:30 I do not have a template Oct 07 10:14:46 you compile a package and like to use it or you like to comile it to install it at a different place? Oct 07 10:18:09 I am maintaining sane-backends fpr oleg. What I did, I compiled it with optware and now I have the folder CONTROL which contains the conffiles and the /opt/-Directory which contains the software. So if you look at an ipk-package it contains this two folders (on oleg because we prefix everything on opt). So the only thing I wanna do is make a new ipk-file out of my two folders Oct 07 10:20:39 its only for testing the package on my router. later I will change the makefile-template Oct 07 10:20:57 ok, you like to replace the prefix /opt with /oleg? Oct 07 10:26:38 nono, I have these thow folders that contains everything of the ipk-package.... no for testing I changed some files in the CONTROL and also in teh opt folder. Now i wanna make them again to an ipk-package Oct 07 10:28:18 I use the script from I also use on the router, no problem Oct 07 10:31:19 ipk-package are build with 'IPKG_BUILD'-script Oct 07 10:32:20 yeah, is there a script in optware :-) Thats the only question, sorry mayby my describtion was a bit confusing Oct 07 10:32:41 you find it at /staging/bin/ Oct 07 10:33:23 you see the call at your package at line 246 Oct 07 10:34:45 oh ok, thanks
