At elce someone asked about the latest Ubuntu generating the unsupported distro warning Sep 16 10:56:04 I don't have more details ran into them on an escalator Sep 16 11:08:52 yes it does, but it works with master, for kirkstone and older you need to backport uninative upgrade to use it with newer glibc (in 22.10) Sep 16 11:10:20 dunfell needs one more change to make bitbake compatible and that's already queued by steve (https://git.openembedded.org/bitbake-contrib/commit/?h=jansa/1.46&id=ec097e488b81ffe53e1531cb070bd7de3904d033) Sep 16 14:05:35 Hi, for local testing I'd like to install add all dependencies to build a python package including some C extensions on the target device. I included gcc but lack the standard c libraries. Is there a shortcut to install everything to build python packages on the target? If not, which package do I need to add to get the standard c headers? Sep 16 14:44:22 emrius: the easy way is to add tools-sdk to IMAGE_FEATURES Sep 16 14:44:42 oh and dev-pkgs so you get all the -dev packages Sep 16 14:52:17 thanks! **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sat Sep 17 02:59:56 2022
