**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sun Apr 03 02:59:58 2011 Apr 03 12:24:45 hello Apr 03 12:25:46 i've got my rootfs corrupted (UBIFS error) bad node ... any idea how to fix it (i run qtmoko on freerunner) Apr 03 15:31:27 well, i think i bricked my free-runner. After clearing badBlocks, it doesn't boot anymore... Apr 03 15:34:34 Not bricked, you can *ALWAYS* boot from NOR flash. Apr 03 15:36:11 apparently, not i my case... Apr 03 15:37:09 or is ther a specific procedure (other than press AUX then Power button) ? Apr 03 15:49:06 Dervish_, check the wiki -- yes, there are two distinct sequences, one enters NAND flash (which can be erased), the other NOR flash (which cannot be erased and has an (older) copy of u-boot. Apr 03 15:49:55 From the NOR flash, you can repair your NAND flash setup, by fixing the badblocks info and reflashing the NAND u-boot (or other bootloader), and a kernel and rootfs. Apr 03 15:50:24 The wiki has the entire tedious recovery procedure documented. It's a PITA, but its not hard, mainly tedious. Apr 03 15:51:38 ok, i said that because, before that, when i boot, i had the nor menu with (boot, boot from uSD, set serial, etc.) but now, i'm unable to access to this menu **** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sun Apr 03 23:55:22 2011 **** BEGIN LOGGING AT Mon Apr 04 15:14:14 2011 Apr 04 18:53:13 hi **** ENDING LOGGING AT Tue Apr 05 02:59:58 2011
