**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Tue Jun 26 02:59:58 2012 Jun 26 18:35:54 hi Jun 26 19:30:06 I just wanted to update to the latest qtmoko. I followed the description on the readme of the download page. It works from NAND if I remove the sd card. But I can't get it to boot from the SD card. I always get : Kernel panic - not syncing VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(170,1) It's on a freerunner (GTA02) Jun 26 19:33:21 ulrichard_: you can try glamo_mci.sd_max_clk=10000000 Jun 26 19:35:32 PaulFertser: Where can I set this? Jun 26 19:35:56 ulrichard_: /boot/append-GTA02 if you use Qi Jun 26 19:39:45 cool, looks better now. Thanks a lot. Jun 26 19:40:25 ulrichard_: boots now? Jun 26 19:40:54 yes, qte is coming up right now Jun 26 19:41:06 yay Jun 26 19:42:13 As far as I can remember, glamo is the graphics chip. What's the reason I have to pass this option? Jun 26 19:43:15 ulrichard_: the sd card is connected via glamo's mmc/sd interface, and the sd interface of the soc is used for wifi. Jun 26 19:46:00 PaulFertser: ah, ok. And does this mean I use a slow sd card? Jun 26 19:50:47 ulrichard_: no, it means there're some issues with the glamo_mci driver i think. The folks working on 3.2 say it doesn't need that trick. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Wed Jun 27 02:59:58 2012
