**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sun Mar 21 02:59:57 2010 Mar 21 19:56:08 good evening all Mar 21 19:57:27 I am trying to install moblock and blockcontrol on my sheevaplug. I can get the sources and create the deb packages just fine, but I don't want to lock myself out of my SSH connection once I go and install it. Anyone here has some experience on how to proceed? Mar 21 19:58:11 I did find this guide http://forums.phoenixlabs.org/showthread.php?t=15997 , but the file structure of the sources seems to have changed since it was discussed Mar 21 20:14:33 anyone here has moblock running on the sheevaplug? Or other sorts of blocklists? Mar 21 20:39:01 Brandano: well you'll still be able to access the serial/usb console if you block out ssh Mar 21 20:39:58 chemical1liver: yep, I know that, but I'd rather prefer to not have to Mar 21 20:40:24 chemical1liver: anyway, I took the plunge after editing blockcontrol.conf in the sources Mar 21 20:41:10 and it seems like the blockcontrol install procedure asks for the configuration while installing through an interactive screen Mar 21 20:42:23 cool, I'd not come accross those programs until now... I'm not really into p2p Mar 21 20:43:29 well, they can be useful for damage control on generic servers too, however yes, usually you only need them to police connections that open on random port ranges Mar 21 21:02:07 ok, seems to have worked **** ENDING LOGGING AT Mon Mar 22 03:00:02 2010
