**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Wed Dec 15 02:59:57 2010 Dec 15 21:17:11 I've been seeing a lot of filesystem failures on my sheevaplug running debian/squeeze. Rebuilt a couple of times using PNY MMC cards but a new Sony branded one failed this morning as well. The system doesn't do much except NFS serve some powered USB disks. Even flashybrid doesn't help. Ideas? Dec 15 21:17:53 using ext2 for the root instead of the debian std ext3. Dec 15 21:59:37 filesystem failures as in what? Dec 15 22:06:02 why ext2? :| Dec 15 22:06:14 it's *old* Dec 15 22:06:41 and non-journaled Dec 15 22:26:24 cpg, end_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 622593 Dec 15 22:26:46 use a different sd Dec 15 22:26:47 cpg, mvsdio mvsdio: FIFO_EMPTY bit missing Dec 15 22:27:17 kerio, I was using a PNY, then a brand new PNY and just this morning a brand new Sony Dec 15 22:27:34 use a different sheevaplug Dec 15 22:27:51 kerio, those are harder to swap out. certainly more expensive...
