Unfortunately after opening the box I discover I have a newer hardware revision than the one supported by openwrt (v4 vs v3). What do I do to attempt to port openwrt to this new hardware revision? May 08 17:52:42 https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-developer/hw.hacking.first.steps https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-developer/adding_new_device May 08 19:03:41 Thanks AndyCap. Had a read through these. Looks like I'll have to open it up to gain access to it first. Haven't been able to gain access via the web ui. May 08 20:31:20 Ram-Z: and if not access at least look at what chips are in this revision May 08 20:31:28 the maybe get your hands on the serial console May 08 20:32:11 not sure how much info you can get from the logs in the stock web-ui May 08 20:49:19 stock web ui logs are pityful. May 08 20:49:46 Have not found any upstream sources on chips used. May 08 20:50:33 rev3 is apparently easy to open and easy access to serial, hoping rev4 is the same. May 08 20:50:48 Will have to have a go at it another day though. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Mon May 09 02:59:57 2022
