**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Thu Apr 17 02:59:58 2014 Apr 17 09:19:20 Hi - I am running nm on two devices with identical USB wifi cards (ath9k_htc), one is x86 and the other is arm. Both are running headless nm 0.9.6 on Ubuntu 12.04. On the x86 wifi roaming works perfectly < 1.0s, and on the arm roaming does not work at all. Is there anything I need to check? Apr 17 21:03:33 *the state of support Apr 17 21:09:34 The ubuntu wiki page on ARM is pretty out dated Apr 17 21:13:56 arpd: The state of support is there isn't any kernel support, as always, unless you have your own. Apr 17 21:17:14 infinity: Unless I have my own? i.e. unless I use the one distributed with chromeos? Apr 17 21:19:14 arpd: Right. In other words, we don't support it at all, but our userspace will run fine on a chromebook if you provide a kernel and drivers and figure out how to install it. Apr 17 21:21:31 infinity: Would you have any advice for where I should start looking try and get the chromeos kernel and drivers, and ubuntu working together? Apr 17 21:21:58 arpd: No idea, sorry. I don't have a Chromebook. I'm sure there are HOWTOs and blog posts out there. Apr 17 21:22:28 infinity: Right, thanks for the help. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Fri Apr 18 02:59:59 2014
