**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Tue Nov 18 02:59:59 2014 Nov 18 16:21:35 Hi all, I'm working on an ARMHF ubuntu image.. I'm starting with the .img from the website, but is there a way I can chroot into it and apt-get/update some things so I don't have to do it on-boot on every board? Nov 18 16:22:07 I can chroot in after I cp qemu-arm-static into it, and if I mount proc, but nothing networking related works... I can't apt-get update or anything. Nov 18 16:22:50 applepi: I usually bind mount in /sys, /proc and /dev. Nov 18 16:25:11 rbasak: and then unmount everything before making it back into a .img file? Nov 18 16:25:25 applepi: that's what I do, yes. Nov 18 16:25:42 (well, I loopback mount, so I just unmount everything and my image is ready) Nov 18 16:29:02 rbasak: I'm still getting "qemu: Unsupported syscall: 184" and "ping: cap_get_proc: Function not implemented" Nov 18 16:30:41 I'm in a virtual machine, if that has any bearing at all. Nov 18 16:32:13 ah wait, it seems it does. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Wed Nov 19 02:59:59 2014
