I issue "palm-install -d usb org.webosinternals.preware.ipk and it just sits there forever, never finishing.  I tried installing WebOS Quick Install , but that hangs too, unless I specify the emulator.  Any suggestions?

I just ran it and shut it down when it asked me to connect my phone (since I know that would do Bad Things).  Maybe I'll have more luck now.  If not, I'll try w/ a Ubuntu thumb drive.
