**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Fri Dec 05 02:59:58 2014 Dec 05 05:00:21 Hey, can anyone look at a hand-written Preware feed, and tell me why the app isn’t recognized as an app by Preware? http://hominidsoftware.com/feeds/Packages Dec 05 05:04:22 Argh, it was an unescaped quote mark. :-( Dec 05 05:56:40 I know of the following 3rd party apps that work under LuneOS: Project Macaw (Enyo), Zap Photoshare, FeedSpider, and Neato! I have feeds for the first two and the third should come soonish. Neato! is not expected to be available, as the server costs money to run. Does anyone know of other apps, and if so, what Preware feed they appear in? Dec 05 06:05:17 DougReeder: Garfonso's patched SpazHD works, but it's not in a feed AFAIK Dec 05 06:05:34 Ah! Dec 05 06:06:04 Link:http://www.mobo.info/webos/?p=68 Dec 05 06:06:18 I'll download the IPKs from Precentral feed and go through them to see where they're coded in Dec 05 06:06:26 So we have more to test Dec 05 06:11:25 I’ve added the feeds for Macaw and Zap to org.webosinternals.ipkgservice.bb and rebuilt, and Preware comes up ready to install Macaw and Zap! (and they work properly after installation!) Dec 05 06:13:20 :D Dec 05 07:09:41 morning Dec 05 07:13:38 DougReeder: if you have linux, you can create the Packages file with "dpkg-scanpackages -t ipk PATH-TO-DIR-WITH-IPKS > Packages" from the ipk files. :) Dec 05 15:40:17 Alas, dpk-dev is a Debian package, and I’m running Centos. Dec 05 20:26:09 hey, wait a second Dec 05 20:26:13 * HaDAk ponders Dec 05 20:57:14 HaDAk: What you're pondering about? Dec 05 20:57:33 i thought i recalled seeing my better email headers patch in the new mail client, but i could be mistaken Dec 05 20:58:18 anyway. i gotta bounce. toodles. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sat Dec 06 03:00:00 2014
