**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Mon Nov 10 03:00:00 2014 Nov 10 09:33:20 good morning Nov 10 10:07:08 morning all Nov 10 10:10:04 <_qwerty_> Hi All, I need to apply git://gitorious.org/~kurt-vd/linux-can/linux-can-j1939.git kernel patch what is it best way to apply? Nov 10 13:07:22 it appears that the recent shellshock patches have now disabled the 'bitbake -c devshell' ? Nov 10 13:07:38 Is there a work-around? Nov 10 13:17:44 there's a bug filed, let me check whether we've made any progress on it Nov 10 13:18:12 https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6880 Nov 10 13:18:14 Bug 6880: normal, Medium+, 1.8 M1, richard.purdie, NEW , Redhat/Fedora Shellshock Fix Leads To oe_terminal breakage Nov 10 13:28:42 doesn't look like we have a fix / workaround yet unfortunately :( Nov 10 13:29:11 one workaround might be to unset the offending functions before running bitbake Nov 10 13:29:26 T0mW: ^ Nov 10 13:32:11 bluelightning: ok, thanks Nov 10 17:54:01 I can boot a default core-image-minimal build on a zedboard successfully. When I build an image with IMAGE_INSTALL += "python-core", the image boots, but I get "Cannot read inode bitmap" errors. Nov 10 17:55:23 the core-image-minimal u-boot image is 2,503,370 bytes. The new image is 4,041,921 bytes. I think it should still fit in RAM reserved for ramdisk (0x2000000 - 0x2A00000). Nov 10 17:56:42 The error message I get anytime I try to do anything (ls, cat, cd) is "EXT2-fs (ram0): error: read_inode_bitmap: Cannot read inode bitmap - block_group = 2, inode_bitmap = 16386" (with different numbers each time) Nov 10 17:59:40 I get this error, but the operation succeeds (ls shows listing, cat shows the file, etc.) But any writes to ramdisk won't succeed. Does anybody know what's wrong? Do I need to tweak some ramdisk setting to account for larger image? Nov 10 19:53:33 hi, does someone have bb file for libwebsockets around ? Nov 10 19:55:37 grma: http://layers.openembedded.org/layerindex/branch/master/recipes/?q=websocket Nov 10 19:56:26 thx Nov 10 19:57:55 does not look to be able to dowload ... strange Nov 10 19:59:58 ah, i have to use http://layers.openembedded.org/layerindex/branch/master/layer/meta-tizen, thx Nov 10 20:02:18 the metadata index is just that — an index of existing layers, it doesn't hold the content itself :) Nov 10 23:32:45 I really want to see what is up with mckoan|away power thing **** ENDING LOGGING AT Tue Nov 11 03:00:00 2014
