Jul 21 18:58:24 <khem> xtron: D is staged install area for the package, there are packaging tasks that gets performed after that which move these files into individual packages dirs unders packages_split and the tarred up and created into ipk/deb/rpm there is a FILES directive which instructs how to package the output artifacts something like FILES_<packagename> = "/www"
Jul 21 18:59:48 <khem> most of packaging tasks are automatic so in recipes you ensure that the needed files get installed under D and then they appear in FILES_<somepackage> directive assignments, some defaults are aleady taken care of, usual directories eg /usr/bin /usr/lib /lib etc
