Oct 03 08:23:21 RPI_IMX6: set MACHINE to the machine you want to use Oct 03 11:53:01 Hi guys, complete newbie here. I am working on a IOT device where i would like to switch from a customized raspbian dist, to use a yocto based image. My issue however, is that my current image relies on a provisioning system (saltstack) to configure and set up all required services configuration etc. But this means that I would have to somehow boot the yocto image after building it, and apply the salt states then save the chan Oct 03 11:53:01 ges. I am just not sure if that is feasible to incorporate as an after-build step, while also being able to generate a (swu?) file to use with SWUpdate. Does anyone know if the way im trying to do this is possible, or if I need to ditch the current provisioning and implement this in a yocto-layer(?) or something? It would save a ton of time if i could somehow apply the states on the image after building the image. Thanks, and Oct 03 11:53:01 have a great weekend :) Oct 03 18:48:15 I just got the following error message when trying to build my image: ERROR: Layer meta-manwag is not compatible with the core layer which only supports these series: zeus (layer is compatible with dunfell) Oct 03 18:48:15 What is "the core layer"? OpenEmbedded-core? Oct 03 20:11:03 manuel1985: yes, openembedded-core Oct 03 20:23:49 "Exception: OverflowError: cannot serialize a string larger than 4GiB" - that is a new one :) Oct 03 20:45:08 RP: Thanks **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sun Oct 04 02:59:57 2020
