**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sun Mar 14 02:59:56 2021 Mar 14 09:23:44 Hi, I'm adding resolvconf to an image but do_rootfs fails with very little/unclear info. This is the log that I get: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/xxNtw6fvDV/ Mar 14 09:23:49 Anyone an idea? Mar 14 09:32:06 ah ok, I think I found it, after a clean build of rootfs I got: Mar 14 09:32:07 Problem: package systemd-1:246.9-r0.cortexa7t2hf_neon_vfpv4 conflicts with resolvconf provided by resolvconf-1.83-r0.noarch Mar 14 09:32:44 Effem good:) I was reading your pastebin Mar 14 09:35:25 jdrol: the pastebin was from an incremental build; after cleaning the image recipe I got meaningful output Mar 14 09:36:24 I have problem to cbitbake the meta-qt package with raspberrypI Mar 14 11:31:18 how bitbake knows when layer.conf contains machine directory that MACHINE variable will be the name of file in machine directory ? I see that in meta-raspberrypi Mar 14 15:14:01 Hi. I am trying to migrate from krogoth to dunfell, and am having issues with a custom machine based off "var-som-mx6", "var-som-mx6-myboard". In krogoth, it sufficed to have SOC_FAMILY in my machine's .conf file. This seems to now have been deprecated in favor of MACHINEOVERRIDE. I have tried playing with this variable, and requiring the Mar 14 15:14:02 "var-som-mx6.conf" file in my custom machine's .conf. However, I am not able to build certain recipes that search for files based on machine name. Two examples would be u-boot, where symlinks to the correct arch's header files don't seem to be being created, and bluez5 Mar 14 15:14:02 (https://github.com/varigit/meta-variscite-fslc/tree/morty/recipes-connectivity/bluez5/files) where due to the new/custom machine name, it is not lookin in the var-som-mx6 folder Mar 14 15:14:03 does anyone know how to fix this? Mar 14 15:55:09 RP: you missed https://lists.openembedded.org/g/openembedded-core/message/149326?p=,,,20,0,0,0::Created,,Khem,20,2,0,81274226 Mar 14 15:55:21 in staging to master-next Mar 14 15:55:27 or do you see any issue with this ? Mar 14 15:56:56 there are several packages where libunwind tests fail due to libunwind needing this dependency on musl, on glibc the getcontext/setcontext are part of libc itself so not an issue there Mar 14 16:13:48 halstead: is there some way in group.io to see raw text of emails to grok patches e.g. I was reading through https://groups.io/g/GroupManagersForum/topic/getting_at_the_raw_email_text/30410632?p= Mar 14 16:14:01 seems there is no easy way kind of sucks Mar 14 16:14:57 perhaps patchwork was/is fillng this need, Mar 14 16:14:59 khem: no but we will offer public inbox soon which will expose all messages in a git repo. Mar 14 16:15:09 oh ok Mar 14 16:15:30 I am spoilt by gitlab and github workflows :) Mar 14 16:17:24 khem: new version of patchwork on the way as well Mar 14 16:20:02 halstead: yay, you rock ! Mar 14 17:12:33 I try to append the keymaps.bb recipe to set a non english keyboard but i got an Error : no recipes in default available .. help please... Mar 14 18:03:01 Ok fixed but service keymaps is not created Mar 14 18:03:05 idea ? Mar 14 18:36:20 I need help to debug my bbappend of recipes-bsp/keymaps .. Mar 14 22:15:37 khem: sorry, just overlooked. Added to the queue Mar 14 22:47:20 RP: I guess this is an expected fallout of the util-linux-uuid split?: https://www.irccloud.com/pastebin/bU68qqMR/ Mar 14 22:54:50 RP: it does work after moving tmp aside, as you'd expect **** ENDING LOGGING AT Mon Mar 15 03:00:14 2021
